Tell A&K which components wear on a predictable cycle. At your chosen interval — 6, 12, or 24 months — we machine, finish, and stage your replacements before they're needed. No emergency calls, no re-quoting, no rush rates.
Most of A&K's repeat work is parts that wear out on a known cycle. Idlers every 18 months. Drag-chain sprockets every two years. Impact bars every three. You already know when the next one is coming. So do we.
Enroll the parts that follow a predictable pattern. We keep your spec, material, heat treatment, and quantity on file. At your chosen interval, the parts get machined and staged before your maintenance window — and you stop paying emergency rates for "we need this yesterday."

If A&K already makes it for you and you replace it on a known cadence, it can be enrolled. Most programs cover three to ten part numbers across a single plant.
Carrying idlers, return idlers, training idlers, drive pulleys with lagging, head and tail pulleys, scraper blades, sprockets, drag-chain components, takeup rollers, and shafting. The high-volume wear items on every belt and chain line.
Dies, punches, sleeve bushings, wear plates, auger flighting and shafts, bearing housings, and custom machined parts that take regular abuse. Carbon, alloy, tool steel, or stainless — with the heat treatment you spec'd already on file.
Impact bars and beds, skirtboard frames with replaceable rubber, UHMW and AR400/AR500 chute liners, hopper liners, and replaceable wear strips. Pre-cut, drilled, and labeled by location so install crews don't have to think.
Four steps. The first cycle runs like any normal A&K order. After that, you're on the schedule.
Send us the parts that wear on a known cycle. We capture the spec, material, heat treatment, finish, and quantity. From that point forward we don't need a drawing each time — your file is the drawing.
Pick a cycle — 6, 12, 18, or 24 months — or align to your planned shutdown calendar. We work backward from your maintenance window so the parts are ready before you need them.
Parts go through our shop ahead of the cycle date, get palletized and labeled, and sit in staging waiting for your call. Inspected against the spec before they leave the machine — same as any A&K order.
When your window comes around, we ship to your dock or our crew installs during the planned outage. Then we open the next cycle's file and the loop starts again.

The replacements happen anyway. The choice is whether they happen on your calendar or on the line's. When wear parts are pre-machined and staged, three things change:
Anything with a predictable wear cycle: conveyor idlers, scrapers, sprockets, and pulleys; machined wear components like dies, sleeve bushings, augers, and wear plates; and fabricated wear assemblies like impact bars, skirtboard, and chute liners. If it's a part A&K already makes for you and you replace it on a known cadence, it can go on a schedule.
No. There's no contract — you can pause or cancel the schedule any time. We just keep your part spec, material, and heat-treatment on file so the next order moves quickly when you're ready.
6, 12, 18, or 24 months — or aligned to your planned shutdown calendar. The interval is yours to set. Many customers tie replacement cycles to scheduled maintenance windows so the new parts are on the dock the day the line goes down.
Send us a photo of the next cycle's worn parts and we'll adjust. If wear is heavier than expected we can change material, heat treatment, or geometry to extend service life. If wear is lighter, we stretch the interval so you're not paying for parts you don't need.
Either. Parts are palletized and labeled, ready to ship or pick up. For customers in our service area, our on-site crew can also install them during your scheduled outage as part of the program.
When patching the same wear parts isn't enough — we re-engineer the whole line. Full-system overhauls, phased to your shutdown calendar.
The shop work behind every cycle — turning, milling, and inspection on the same equipment that made the original part.
Replacement install during your maintenance window — same team that made the parts swaps them in.
